The spacious holiday flat is furnished with the finest taste and is located in the historical centre of Monopoli – in the popular Via Garibaldi, just a few minutes walk from the city beach. Bars, boutiques and restaurants are in the direct neighbourhood. The airport of Bari is about 50 kilometres to the north, the airport of Brindisi 60 kilometres to the south of Monopoli.

In the Centro Storico of Monopoli, just a stone’s throw away from the picturesque Piazza Garibaldi, you will find this charming old town flat with a private, secluded roof terrace. To the city beach Cala Portavecchia you can walk in a few minutes through the bright alleys of the old town. Further sights like Palazzo Palmieri and the cathedral are in the neighbourhood.

The elegant and spacious flat welcomes the guest with a unique flair. From its private roof terrace the view falls on the picturesque historical centre with the sea glittering in the background. The bright Casa Altomare has been tastefully furnished and offers all the comfort you need. Bright furniture on a historic terrazzo floor, an open, well-equipped kitchen and selected designer furniture lends the flat an inimitable atmosphere.

You can reach the flat via Via Garibaldi. From the entrance of the building a steep but comfortable staircase leads to the 2nd floor of the historic house. The flat is on one level, from where a small staircase leads to an exclusive and secluded private terrace with a fantastic view of the historic sea of roofs of the historical old town.

The rooms

On entering the flat you will be greeted by a spacious living area with armchairs, coffee table and television. The open and well-equipped kitchen adjoins the dining area whose wooden table and two wooden benches provide space for up to 6 people.

The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and tools that allow guests to prepare meals as if they were in their own home.

The kitchen area separates the two large bedrooms which face left and right. This ensures ample privacy.

Bedroom to the left:

Double bed 180 cm x 200 cm plus an integrated sofa bed, which can be used as a relax sofa or single bed (80 cm x 190). The bedroom with its balcony is connected to a spacious bathroom with toilet and shower. A small walk-in closet offers space for clothes and suitcases. From the wrought-iron balcony you can enjoy a view of the enchanting Via Garibaldi.

Bedroom to the right:

Double bed 180 cm x 200 cm. Two steps (??) lead to a private bathroom with toilet and shower, wardrobe and shelves offer space for clothes.

Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. The whole house has central heating and mosquito nets.

From the kitchen area a convenient staircase leads to the spectacular private terrace, which is shaded by a pergola. A spacious outdoor kitchen with fridge, barbecue and all necessary tools allows open-air cooking. At the beautiful dining table up to sixpeople can celebrate culinary highlights. Fourdeck chairs invite you to chill out. The terrace is also equipped with a laundry room with washing machine.

Important information:

This flat is located in the heart of the historical centre of Monopoli in a traffic reduced area. Access for vehicles is limited. Parking spaces are available just outside the area with reduced traffic a 5 minutes walk from the house. Due to the typical architecture of the historical centre of Monopoli this flat has a series of comfortable stairs (from the kitchen to the roof terrace), however,it is our duty to inform you.
